From a young age I participated in my local youth theatre but I never knew I could pursue the arts as a career, until I discovered drama schools and being my competitive self I wanted to go to the best, to be amongst brilliant creatives. Truth be told, I didn’t get in my first time, but the next year I came back and it was worth it as I got into RADA. The training I received as an actor honestly changed my life and consequently inspired me to explore other realms within the arts.

Although I don’t have a military background, a good friend said to me one day “You know I think you’d be great working with veterans”, intrigued by his invitation, I next found myself acting alongside veterans on the Westend stage, 5 years later I’m still proud to be a part of The Soldiers Arts Academy. I’ve always had a desire to be part of projects that are more than the face of the show, or film, I’m interested in bringing about change, connecting communities and galvanising audiences through mediums that go that bit further- That is exactly what attracted me to Sunray.
